Professor Zhou Hong and his delegation visited Lifi's innovative intelligent manufacturing facility for in vitro diagnostic medical devices, R&D laboratories, and production workshops, gaining an on-site understanding of the product development process, commercialization of research outcomes, and market applications. General Manager Huang Ning provided a detailed introduction to the Qingdao In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Device Technology Transfer Proof-of-Concept Platform. The platform can provide universities and research institutes, medical institutions, and biopharmaceutical companies with full-chain proof-of-concept services, including assessment of scientific and technological achievements, secondary development, pilot-scale maturation, performance testing, and mass production. During the exchange, the two sides held in-depth discussions on the core technologies and industrial applications of wearable devices, signal amplification technologies for immunodiagnostic reagent testing, biomedical optoelectronic testing, and precision diagnosis and treatment. Professor Zhou Hong introduced his research progress in photoelectrochemical biosensing analysis, optoelectronic nanotechnology, and sensor device development, while General Manager Huang Ning presented Lifi Bio's industrial layout in the in vitro diagnostics field and the development of its proof-of-concept platform. Both sides agreed that universities possess solid fundamental research capabilities, while enterprises have mature capabilities in industrial commercialization and market practice. They noted broad potential for university-enterprise collaboration and expressed the expectation of identifying entry points for cooperation in areas such as joint technological research and project studies, to translate cutting-edge research technologies into tangible industrial achievements. Taking this exchange as an opportunity, Lifi Bio will further strengthen two-way coordination, focus on industry technology challenges, pool intellectual resources from universities, empower enterprise technological iteration and upgrading through industry-education integration, and contribute to the high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical industry. Next, the two sides will conduct in-depth discussions on specific cooperation matters and promote the implementation and effectiveness of the cooperation as soon as possible.
